Probably about halfway through the stay here and it's been mixed. Anything involving family is dull, boring and fucked for conversation aka mealtimes, outside of that we've been doing enough activities to keep me from anyone in particular. Kayaking (boring but ok), swimming, windsurfing (which was impossible to really do anything), walking (more on that later) and canyoning. Canonyoning was fucking sick, got in these hench wetsuits and just basically followed this ice cold stream through this valley, dad made a massive attempt to be embarassing and succeeded in places. Seriously I have no idea where he gets his lame humour from. Anyhow our instructor was an absolute legend and yeah I was loving that.
I'm actually going to go kayaking now because I cba with people.
Ok, so I'm back, kayaking made me feel like I did something with my day. Oliver Scutt and I don't understand each other at all.
Sooo... finally got through to Carina at the airport, sounds cooler than it was but had a really nice chat and we kind of arranged to meet up before september- not sure if it will happen though. Now I've been out the country she hasn't texted me at all and I don't know where we stand anymore whereas it used to be like- we're probably going to go out or at least be fuck buddies in cardiff, now it's like, we could be friends, maybe. She's so like- I love shopping and crappy films and the mainstream on facebook that I'm not sure she would appreciate my tastes/vice versa.
So canyoning was awesome, we had this hilarious german instructor who was like a snowboard instructor with his hilarious yodel cum yehah! Basically jumped down these ravines/abseiled down a few unjumpable things and ended with a running jump off a bridge, which I loved so much I climbed out and ran around and did it again. haha. On the way back (we had to drive out to some place to do it) Dad and I were chatting to the instructor and it was so cool. He's like 32 and works for 2 months of the year, the rest of it he bums around in munich until it snows and then just travels around the alps skiing. He told us about this ill italian ski resort where if you book a hotel they give you a free ski pass and it's duty free so bare cheap alcohol.
I seriously considered flunking this exam just to be able to get out of this shit but once again boring adam kicks in- I've paid for my house. So I'm going to stick out uni, pass- resurrect L.A.D soc and get it to a good level of insanity. Then I'll be 21, that summer go to Africa, weekends do humanitarian shit, weekdays do some kind of job with my english then go scandinavia and do a ski season, if it gets too dark come to italian alps- all the while trying to learn the language of coutnry I'm in (Norwegian, Italian and probably french for Africa). Repeat this for serveral years until I'm too old.
There's so much I want to do with my life- will there be time?
